Setting Seeds

Published on October 26th 2017 by LMNS

In the Senior Room we have been taking part in a programme called Friends for Life where we are setting the seeds for recognising feelings, learning to relax and focusing on the positive and learning how to be a good friend.

We also set seeds for broad beans. We hope that these grow and that we have a harvest next Spring.

The Dean talked about the fruits of seeds and the wonderful harvest we are grateful for. We learned about needing to be thankful for all we have been give. We also learned that the fruits of the spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

Liosmór Mochuda National School is a mixed two-teacher school in Lismore, Co. Waterford under the Patronage of the Church of Ireland. It is nestled at the top of North Mall between the historic St. Carthages Cathedral and the Deanery.
