Cork Pops Orchestra

We went to the Cork Pops on a stylish bus.  When we got to the City Hall, it was packed with lots of children from other schools.  When we got settled the conductor Evelyn Grant walked onto the stage.  “Welcome to Cork Pops Orchestra”, she said. Then we heard instruments, we heard, string instruments, percussion instruments, woodwind instruments and brass instruments.

DJ Dashka came and we sang Purple People Eater and Somewhere Over the Rainbow and we sang and we danced.  DJ Dashka is cool. Then we got back on the bus and had our lunch.  We arrived back at school at 2.30 pm.  We enjoyed our trip to Cork.

London Science Museum

We travelled to the Town Hall in Dungarvan for this year’s Science Event presented by the London Science Museum. The name of the presentation was ‘It’s a Material World.’

We went to Dungarvan in a big bus.  Two scientists spoke to us. They did lots of experiments with a bouncy ball and a banana.  There were lots of other children there.  We had great fun.
