Science Week

Published on November 17th 2016 by LMNS

This Tuesday, November 15th, we went to Dungarvan to attend a Science show. It was called Super Cool. We learned about Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin. We learned that materials can be a solid, liquid or gas. We watched and took part in experiments using liquid nitrogen. We witnessed what happens to Plasticine when it is put in liquid nitrogen and  boiling water. David hammered a nail into a wooden plank using a banana that had been immersed in liquid nitrogen…it was pretty cool. We had so much fun.
