Diocesan Service

Published on June 14th 2017 by LMNS

We had the privilege of hosting the Diocesan Service on June 9th. Schools from Waterford, Cashel, Clonmel and Stradbally came along.

The service was lovely, the children all sang extremely well. All of the schools read their readings, prayers and quotes well and the service was enjoyed by all. The highlight was the talk given by the Treus and their puppet Andy about Joshua. We were encouraged to be good leaders and set a good example for others. The Bishop was also in attendance.

We then all had lunch together, it was great to fill our playground with almost 300 students and teachers.

A huge THANK YOU to all those who took part, helped with parking, serving food, set up, music, sound and tidy up. The other schools commented on how lovely the day was and how much they enjoyed it. Well done everyone.

Liosmór Mochuda National School is a mixed two-teacher school in Lismore, Co. Waterford under the Patronage of the Church of Ireland. It is nestled at the top of North Mall between the historic St. Carthages Cathedral and the Deanery.
