Christmas Week

Published on December 20th 2016 by LMNS

Yesterday we had so much fun.

  1. Firstly we did some school work, then we walked (rather quickly) to St. Carthages Nursing Home where we sang Christmas Carols and gave out Christmas Cards and wished the older people Happy Christmas. The staff then gave us juice and sweets. Our teachers said that they had never heard us sing so well.
  2. After this we walked down town and sang in four different places. We were a little tired but were proud to have raised lots of money for The Lions Club in Dungarvan.
  3. When we got back to school the P.T.A. had organised a Christmas Party, we had music, hot-dogs, hot chocolate with marshmallows, mini-buns and sweets.
  4. Then the man himself arrived, Santa brought each one of us a gift and warned us to be good and told us to go to bed early on Saturday night.
  5. Then we practiced violin, we are playing a piece at the school service on Thursday.

It was a lovely day, thank you to the P.T.A. for a lovely party.
