Style!

In the Senior Room we made tie-dye t-shirts. We had 4 colours to choose from. We used elastic bands to make designs on the t-shirts and then we squirted the dye onto the t-shirts. Then we left them to dry and after this Miss Quin washed them. Don’t they look stylish!

Pat came in to visit our school on May 8th as part of Heritage in Schools. He showed us how to make our own butter and told us all about how butter was made when his Grandmother was young. He had a special churn, paddles and a special tool to add salt to the butter. […]

Spring Clean

We cleaned all the school grounds. We had brushes, rakes and we wore gloves.  We cleaned the outside window sills. .  We found a ants nest and we got rid of it.  We did lots of weeding and cleared away all the leaves.  It was tiring but we enjoyed it. Everyone helped and afterwards we […]

Gymnastics

Ken has been in again to do some gymnastics with us. He has been trying to help us to build up our core strength, balance and co-ordination. We have been learning to do forward rolls, donkey kicks and side tumbles.
